Chemical Engineering or outside experts;
Approval by at least two independent reviewers and the editor is the pre-requisite for acceptance of a manuscript for publication. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through an online tracking system, hopefully to publication. The scope of the Journal includes (but is not limited to) studies from the fields of:
- Physical Chemistry
- Organic Chemistry
- Inorganic Chemistry
- Analytical Chemistry
- Chemical Engineering
- Computational Chemistry

CHE is a peer-reviewed journal
CHE is a peer-reviewed journal, publishing full-length/mini review articles, original research articles and guest edited issues on all the major advances in chemical, biochemical engineering and related fields.
Open Access— free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions
- High Visibility: indexed within DOI from Cross Ref, and many other databases.
- Rapid Publication: First decisions in 15-25 days; acceptance to publication in 10 days
- Recognition of Reviewers: reviewers who provide timely, thorough peer-review reports receive vouchers entitling them to a discount on the APC of their next publication
- Frequency 4 Issues yearly
CHE runs special issues to create collections of papers on specific topics. The aim is to build a community of authors and readers to discuss the latest research and develop new ideas and research directions. Special Issues are led by Guest Editors who are experts in the subject and oversee the editorial process for papers. Papers published in a Special Issue will be collected together on a dedicated page of the journal website. For any inquiries related to a Special Issue, please contact the Editorial Office at editor@che.com.es
